Kasea Skyhawk 90 Manual
Has anyone had success in locating replacement spindles for the Coolsports (150ST and 200) (not to be confused with coolster although may be the same types) after the shatter? I've two quads that both have busted spindles.
I've tried two different parts sites but they never shipped. Also, has anyone ever tried to weld the steering linkage bolt hole parts back on after they crack off hitting a tree? The rest of the quads are in good shape; stinks to not be able to ride'm due to the spindles. (On a side note, anyone use a different aftermarket spindle as a replacement with success?) Tks,. So i was riding the other day and my quad randomly shut off. It started back up and ran completely fine for a little while and then it started idling terribly.
I cleaned the carb and changed all the jets and everything except the float due to the rebuild kit not coming with one and it actually runs worse then it did before. It will run and idle decent now but when I give it gas it dies. Does anybody know what could be wrong? I also changed the spark plug and air filter along with the oil and oil filter.
I have a 2000 suzuki king quad lt-f300f that i picked up as a project bike. It didnt run well when it was parked outside 5 years ago. It cranked after putting fresh gas - but would not run below half throttle, i took apart the carb, cleaned debris, and re-assembled. I suspect that the pilot needle is sheared off - it never protrudes into the throttle body through the pinhole. Now to get the bike to ALMOST idle, the throttle idle adjustment knob is all the way up/in.
The pilot needle is turned almost all the way in/up (if i understand correct, it should nominally be out 2 1/4 turns or so). And like i said, it will ALMOST idle. Floods easily, rides rough. Wanted to hear from those more experienced than me with suzukis - and im self-taught atv repair, so dont laugh too hard if my verbiage/part names is way off. Facing the driver's side of the bike US there are three hoses on this side of the carb.
Without a service manual or way of knowing what was messed up before i got it, i think i have them right: front hose as a vacuum to the petcock, middle hose as vacuum to the fuel pump, rear hose as fuel line from the fuel pump. Running the bike in prime position results in flooding even while riding. With all hoses disconnected from the carb, fuel slowly drips from the vacuum line connected to the petcock. So just my speculation is that the diaphragm in the petcock is split, and the pilot needle is broke off - causing my inability to not quite idle and the rough ride.
This suzuki is hoses and cables everywhere compared to the honda ranchers and yamaha warriors i am used to. I would like to have a plan rather than: replace everything at once.
Is my speculation on the right track, or could something else be at play? Say, if the compression was non-existent, would that cause non-idling?
I am all ears, look forward to the input.
Just got a 03 Kasea 90 2 weeks ago wow it's a ripper! It's all it was pumped up to be But.
Kasea Skyhawk 90 Manual
The head lite kit is set up so you have to install the head light assy Upside down! The drain holes are on top and the writing on the lens is upside down when instaled in the machine. Dont say I put it in wrong it will only fit one way I sealed the drain holes and drilled new ones. Also the kit diden't come with hard wear. The tail light is cool just make some rubber bushings to moount it. Break lite whats that on a ATV?
The 90 has one. I got the manual Don't make the same mistake. Looks like poor quality photo copy of some Koreans holding what look's to be some kind of part, and sad hand drawings. Most of the info is in the manual. Can't check the trans oil no dip stick.
Kasea 50 Atv
Whent to drain the oil to check for proper amount but you have to remove foot peg assy the drain bolt hit's it when you screw it out. Called the dealer and he say's it's filled from the factory Hope So! The manual calls for 0.12 L that works out to be 4.5 fl oz is that All? Called the Kasea foctory service no call Back yet that was 2 weeks ago. Thats the bad The good Ripper runs and starts great Look's COOOOOOOL Grease point's on the front end but I dident see any on the rear swing arm. Great suspension My kid loves it Built to last Did I say it is a Ripper, can't wait to remove the throttle slide restrictor.

1750.00 Out the door with head lite kit and tail lite and worthless service manual. Mcstever, If your kid is just playing around on it, I wouldn't worry about the tranny fluid. You can always add some more fluid and let it level itself out b/c it will blow out the overflow tube. The Kaseas are very competitive on the MX track. Check out Greg Peak's kids race them and his older's son, Kiefer's bike is wicked fast and hopped up.
You can see pics on his site and links to TQRA (Racing org out in Texas). They have lots of cool videos you can race. Some of these youth quags are doing 65mph +. imgimages/graemlins/ooo.gif/img There are also a bunch of other places on the net that offer performance mods for your Kasea. Peak Performance - TomCo Enterprise - They're all reputable and you can get a Kevlar replacement belt from any of them and parts to make that Kasea FLY!
